‘Dev Memorial Lecture’ organised by Govinda Dev Centre of Philosophical Research was held at the Dhaka University (DU) RC Majumder Arts Auditorium on Wednesday.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique addressed the function as the chief guest with Chairman of the centre and Pro-VC (academic) Prof Nasreen Ahmad in the chair.
Prof of DU English Department Fakhrul Alam presented the lecture on ‘Rabindranath Tagore at the Intersection of Nationalism and Modernity’ in the function.
