Separate allocation in budget for dalit women underscored

Noted human rights activist Dr Hamida Hossain demanded a separate allocation in the national budget for the socioeconomic development of the country’s dalit women. “Separate allocation should be made in the budget for the socioeconomic development of dalit women to achieve the target of sustainable development,” she said this on Wednesday while speaking as chief guest at a seminar at CIRDAP auditorium in the city.
