The plantation programs as initiated by the Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP completed on Tuesday morning despite inclement weather across the country.
Within one hour from 11 am to 12 noon, planted 4.50 lack saplings of different types of fruit bearing tree in 14 Union Parishads and 9 wards in Pourashava area . Awami league and its front organisations leaders , teachers of different educational institutions, social workers, local elites, journalists irrespective of caste and creed participatedthe mega tree plantation programs.
During the plantation period, MP Fazle Karim Chowdhury goes round the different upazila areas to witnesss the plantation . ABM Fazle Karim chowdhury MP formally inaugurated the program at Raozan sadar.
To make success of the program, 135 committees formed in the upazila areas in the meantime.
The people of the upazila spontaneously participated the program, said our Raozan correspondent Mir Aslam. Among others, upazila chairman Ehasanul Haider chowdhury, Upazila AL Pesident Kamaluddin Ahmed, Panel Mayor Bashiruddin khan, councilor Jamiruddin Parvez, Saiful Islam chowdhury Rana, Ahsan Habib chowdhuy, Syed Abdul Jabbar sohel, Samimul Islam Samu, Sumon Dey, Malcom chakrborty were present on the occasion. Later a press confernece was arraged Upzila auditorium .
Among others, Asstt.comissioner ofland, Agri offier, Education Officer, Project officer, cooperative officer, Animal Husbandy officer were present in the press meet, our correspondent said.
