The government will set up separate desk at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to remove sufferings of Bangladeshi overseas workers.
“The Home Ministry has already issued an order to set up separate desk at the airport to help migrant workers” additional secretary of the Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry Zabed Ahmed told the prize giving ceremony of BRAC Migrant Award-2016 at BRAC Centre here.

Migration Programme Hasan Imam and journalist Syed Ishtiaque Reza and teacher of Dhaka University Rubayet Ferdous, among others, addressed the function.
Maksud said, “Migrant works are making valuable contribution to our economy by earning foreign currencies. So, we all have to extend our cooperation to remove their sufferings.”
Migrant works are facing different sorts of harassments while going to foreign countries he said adding, their suffering must be resolved.
