Deputy Secretary to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Abul Khair Md Maruf Hasan died from coronavirus (Covid-19).
He breathed his last at 6:00 am on Thursday while undergoing treatment at the Bangladesh Police Hospital. Earlier on April 7, he was admitted to the hospital.
State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman and Secretary to the Ministry Md Mohsin have expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Abul Khair Md Maruf Hasan.
Abul Khair Md Maruf Hasan, Administration cadre in 22nd BCS, is survived by his wife and two daughters.
