Another dengue patient, Rosina Begum, 25, died in the dengue ward at Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Rosina Begum’s husband Maeen Uddin (Shwapan) works in a tailoring shop. The patient died at around 11.30am on Thursday.
The couple has a seven-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. They are rented at the World Bank Colony in the Cornell Hut area of Chattogram. Their village home is in Lakshmipur. Rozina Begum’s husband Swapan said that since Tuesday, Rosina has been suffering from fever. Dengue (NS-One) was diagnosed on Wednesday at a diagnostic center in Cornell Hut.
