Seventy-four dengue patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am on Sunday, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of them, 13 are outside of Dhaka.
With the new cases, a total of 3,423 were diagnosed during the running month out of the 27,078 infected this year. Of the total infected, only 4,166 are from outside the capital.
At least 5,458 patients were hospitalised in October, 7,841 September, 7,698 in August, 2,286 in July, 272 in June while 43 were infected in May and the rest are from January to April, according to the DGHS.
So far 98 people have died of dengue infection in the country this year. Of them, twelve people died in July while 34 have died in August 23 in September 22 in October and seven in November so far.
Among the deaths, 90 have died in the Dhaka division, two each in Chattogram, Khulna and Mymensingh divisions and one each in Rajshahi and Barishal divisions.
Though most of the patients who were hospitalised have so far been released, 402 are still undergoing treatment at hospitals in Dhaka, and 109 outside the capital, the DGHS data showed.

The number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease remained unchanged at 98 in the current year as no fresh death was reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the deceased, 90 people died in Dhaka division alone, two each in Chattogram, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions and one each in Rajshahi and Barishal divisions.
Dhaka reported 61new patients undergoing treatment in hospitals in Dhaka while the remaining 13 cases have been reported from outside the division.
Some 402 patients diagnosed with dengue are receiving treatment in the country as of Saturday.
Of them, 293 patients are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the capital while the remaining 109 were listed outside Dhaka.
Since January, some 27,078 patients have been admitted to different hospitals with dengue in the country. So far, 26, 578 dengue patients have left hospitals after recovery, said DGHS.
