Former Secretary General of Jatiya party Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu said democracy and terrorism cant run simultaneously in a independent country .
He disclosed it at Chittagong Press club VIP lounge while exchanging views with the Chittagong journalists . CPC management arranged reception to the local lawmaker of Kotwali constituency of Chittagong for visiting the press club.
In the reception function, Ziabuddin Bablu and Nurul Amin was declared as life member of the Press club. TheJP leader said democracy means peace, discipline and safety of public life. He also mentioned that JP participated the January 5 election to save the de mocracy .
He also blamed the law enforcing agencies for deteriorating the law and order in the country . He said murder, abduction, killings are going rampant and the couples are being killed in their own house like SagarRuni murder. General secretry of Press club Mohsin chowdhury delivered welcome address in it.
Among others, President of CPC Kalim Sarwar, Vice President Salahuddin Md. Reza, former club President Abu Sufian, and life member Nurul Amin spoke on the occasion.
