Central Vice Chairman of BNP and former Minister Abdullah al Noman said, democracy was buried through blue print parliamentary election of January 5 last .
He was addressing the joint discussion meeting on the occasion of downfall of facist Ershad govt and freedom day of democracy as arranged by Pahartali and Halishahar thana committee of BNP held at Tasfia community centre in Pahartali in city yesterday.
Abdullah al Noman said there is no example of good results of facist govt in the world and they are hatred . He said the present govt is also democracy levelled facist govt and they will have to face dare consequences . He also called upon the leaders and workers of BNP to take preparations for mass movement with the slogans of ‘Down new facist govt, free democracy’ .
President of Halishahar thana BNP Jamal Ahmed presided over it. Central labour affairs Secretary AM Nazimuddin, Joint Secretary of city BNP M A Sabur, Advocate M Abdus Sattar, Kazi Akbar, Kazi Belal, Sramik dal President Shamsul Alam, General Scretary of Bandar SD Sheikh Nurullah Bahar were present as special guests.
