Commuter Train Demo service to be opened on Chittagong-Nazirhat line today .
Minister for Railway Mujibul Hoque and the chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railway ministry and legislator of Raozan constituency ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury will jointly inaugurate the service today formally at Chittagong Railway station.
Senior officials of Railway, East zone will also attend in the inaugural ceremony. The minister and the Chairman of PSC will visit the Pahartali railway workshop after inaugural ceremony, Rly sources said.
Following the long demand of the residents of Hathazari and Nazirhat , the Chairman of PSC ABM Fazle Karim MP took initiatives to introduce commuter train in Nazirhat line , concerned ministry consented the demo service in this line, sources said.
