A press conference was held demanding cancellation of new-formed Gopalpur Pouro BNP’ Committee in Lalpur Upazila of Natore district. It was held on Friday morning at the Lalpur Press Club.
Shahinur Alam, former Organizing Secretary of Gopalpur Pouro BNP said that the convening committee of the new-formed Gopalpur Pouro BNP recommended on October 23. Nonpolitical men and even the name of the deceased have been included in the recommended new committee. It has been formed with a Member Secretary who has never had a member post in the BNP. He also demanded the formation of a new committee with real leaders and workers. Otherwise, he threatened to resign from the BNP.
