Delwar Hossain School, College at Bishnupur area in Chandpur Sadar gets new lady Principal . Her name is Afroja Khatun. After a long lapse of 16 years, the college has got a full- fledged Principal. At this , the college teachers and the locals are very much pleased.
College’s Senior Lecturer Mezbahuddin Bhuiyan Jhutan worked as Acting Principal for long 16 years.
The newly appointed lady Principal Afroja Khatun was warmly received just after she joined the college recently. College Governing Body President and noted social worker Md Aziz Khan Badal, ex-Acting Principal Mezbahuddin Jhutan, Senior Lecturers – Asma Chowdhury, Shushil Roy, Md Alauddin and staff, Chandpur Al -Amin Academy’s Principal Md Saiful Islam among others were present at that reception.
It may be noted here that prior to this job, Afroza worked as Vice Principal for long 12 years at R N Mohila College in Matlab Dakhshin Upazila Sadar. She also worked as Acting Principal there for a few years. She seeks blessings and co-operation of all to lead this School & College properly. She is an MA with Honours Degree in Philosophy from DU. She resides permanently in Chandpur Town.
