The bylanes of Bollywood are full of actors waiting for their debut and the latest lucky ones to be gearing up for a big launch are Namashi Chakraborty and Amrin Qureshi. While Namashi is actor Mithun Chakroborty’s youngest son, Amrin is the daughter of producer Sajid Qureshi. The freshers will be marking their debut in Bollywood with Rajkumar Santoshi’s next titled Bad Boy. The romcom went on floors a couple of days back on May 18 and we’ve got a few details about the same. The youth-oriented film will be shot in Mumbai and Bengaluru for over two months and there will be a few songs that’ll be shot abroad.
Talking about the project, producer Sajid Qureshi told a leading daily, “Rajkumar Santoshi has several rounds of auditions before deciding on them and thereafter put both of them through some acting workshops.” He also spoke about how Mithun reacted to his son working with Rajkumar Santoshi. He said, “He met us and discussed the script. Any father would be pleased to have his child launched by Rajkumar Santoshi, it means the film is in safe hands.”
The film is expected to release on Diwali this year, which means that it might clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4. Keep watching this space for more on Bollywood.
