Deer entered into Mongla human habitations sent back to Sundarbans

A young spotted dear that entered into Mongla human habitations after being chased by the tiger or for in search of eatables was caught and sent back to Sundarbans on Sunday morning, according to a delayed report received here.
Md. Enamul Haq, ACF (Assistant Conservator of Forest), Chandpai Forest Range under the Eastern Division of Sundarbans in Bagerhat district told, on Sunday morning (at 6 am) some locals found a young deer behind the residence of Gazi family at Joymoni area (adjacent to Sundarbans) within Chila Union Parishad under Mongla Upazila in the district and informed the forest department of the matter. Then some officials and forest guards rushed to the spot and recovered the deer from there. Sign of injuries was noticed on its body. It was guessed that after entering into the (from the forest) it was caught in a net used as a fencing net marking the border of house. Then the helpless deer tried to make itself free from the net. As a result, it was twisted with the net and consequently, it (deer) sustained the injury. Later it was taken to Chandpai Forest Rang Office where it was given treatment and at 8 am it was released in Sundarbans.
 At that time Md. Obaidur Rahman, Station Office of Chandpai and forest guards Mizanur Rahman, Ohibul Islam and CPG members Enamul Sardar and Swapan Molla were present there.
