New private satellite channel, Deepto TV will go on air on November 18 at its own office in the city’s Tejgaon area with full set up.
Initially three mega serials will be aired in six days in a week in the channel. These three serials are: Aporajita, which is based on Ashapurna Devi’s famous novel Baluchori; Khunje Phiri Takey and Palki.
Therefore, world famous Turkey serial Sultan Suleman will be also aired with Bangla dubbing.
This was announced at meet the press held at Daily Star Auditorium in the city’s Karwanbazar area yesterday.
Kazi Urfi Ahmed, COO of Deepto TV, Kazi Zahin Hasan, Director, Nazmul Ashraf, Head of News, Hasibur Rahman Russell, Head of Broadcast of the channel, among others, were present at the press conference.
