Deepto TV started to air two new drama serials – Agun Pakhi and Amader Golpo from August 1, said
a press release.
Drama serial Agun Pakhi is based on fiction writer Hasan Azizul Huq’s novel is being aired daily 7:30pm and 12:30pm the next day.
Meanwhile, the popular Turkish serial Amader Golpo (Bizim Hikaye) dubbed in Bangla is being aired daily at 5:30pm and 9:00pm.
The drama serial Agun Pakhi, directed by Parvez Amin, stars Shahiduzzaman Selim, Golam Farida Chhanda, Ahsanul Haq Minu, Moutushi Biswas, Intekhab Dinar, Azad Abul Kalam, Shampa Reza, Naznin Hasan Chumki, Baishakhi and many others. It was produced by SJ Motion Pictures, with Kishore Khandkar as line producer.
The story revolves around Amena, who lost her mother during her childhood. Ever since then, she herself became a mother figure to her younger brother by nourturng him. Later, Amena’s father remarries, and that escalates the tension in her life. After she reaches puberty, and getting married against her will, Amena arrives at the in-laws’ house. During the war, her first teenage son dies after joining the freedom movement. This grief turns her into a new person.
Meanwhile, Amader Golpo is based on the story of the Elibol family’s acceptance of poverty with a smile. In this realistic and humorous story, Filiz, the elder daughter, takes responsibility of the family at the cost of her own happiness. Their alcoholic father’s irresponsibility, daily financial stress and above all the reality of life have made the children of the Elibol family more mature than their age.
The story progresses with Filiz’s daily struggles while she runs the family. In happiness and sadness, her close friend Tulay is seen as her constant support. As Rahmet, Hikmet, Kiraz, Fikri and Ismet love their older sister, they stand by her in every need.
Deepto TV’s own team of dialogue writers worked on writing and editing the translated dialogues of the series. Dubbing project directors for the series Amader Golpo were Sajib Roy and Rubaiya Matin Geeti while it was produced by Romana Hossain.
