Noted actress Deepa Khondokar last week started shooting of a new serial titled Khan Bari Barabari for Boishakhi TV. In the serial, Deepa is acting in role of Swapna, Mahmudul Islam Mithu’s sister-in-law. Basically Deepa comes to the Khan residence to complete a mission. Deepa took part in shooting of first phase of the serial.
Two promising actresses Kajol Suborno and Mim Chowdhury also took part in shooting with Deepa Khondokar.
These two actresses are acting in roles of Jui and Toma respectively.
While talking about acting in the serial Deepa said, “In the serial, I was brought up to arrange marriage of Mr Khan. Then many interesting incidents take place. Story of the serial is interesting. So, I enjoyed a lot of working in the serial. The actors, who are acting in the serial, are really working cordially and they are trying to portray their characters properly specially Kajol Suborno and Mim Chowdhury. Earlier I worked under Sokal Ahmed’s direction. He works sincerely.”
Mim Chowdhury shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier I worked under Sokal Bhai’s direction in several numbers of plays. He works cordially. I am playing the role of Toma in the serial. I believe after telecasting my episodes viewers will enjoy the serial.”
Kajol Suborno said, “In the serial, I am playing the role of a ‘tom-boy’ named Jui. In fact, I watched Afran Nisho’s acting in that role earlier. So, I am following him while acting in the role.”
Yousuf Ali Khokon wrote story of the serial Khan Bari Barabari.
Pran Roy, Parsa Evana, Samantha, among others, are also acting in different roles in the serial.
