The police in Harinalundu upazila of Jhenaidah recovered the partial decomposed body of a seven year old boy child after four days of missing from a ditch in the village.
The deceased was identified as Jobayed Hossain, son of Madhu Sarder of Nityanandapur village in the same upazila.
Harinakundu police station officer in-charge Mahtab Uddin said, the boy was missing since Thursday morning while he was playing near the house. But he was missing immediate after the time. The inmates of the house thought that the minor boy might be abducted by the miscreants.
Madhu Sarder, the father of the boy filed a general diary with the police on Saturday. But the partial decomposed body of Jobayed was found floating on the ditch water near the village mosque at about 12.00 noon.
The police acting on the information recovered the body and sent to Jhenaidah general hospital morgue for post mortem examination, officer in charge said.
