The 9th December will be observed as the International Anti-Corruption Day and 6th April as the International Sports Day every year.
The cabinet on Monday approved the two proposals for observing the days officially.
The approval was given at the regular weekly meeting of the cabinet held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam said the proposals were separately proposed by the Cabinet Division and the Ministry of Youth and Sports respectively.
