Audition round of Miss Culture and Tourism Bangladesh started in the capital’s Banani area on October 2. Main aim of this contest is to select five participants from Bangladesh who will represent the country in the Grand Finale which is scheduled to be held in China.
On the occasion of International Tourism Day, Bangladesh Tourism Broad and Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh jointly supported the initiative to Linkus. Main organizer of this contest is National Radio and TV Administration of China. In this contest, Chinese and Bangladeshi females will get the opportunity to contest the final competition. It was confirmed by Chairman and Managing Director of Linkus Ye Liang yesterday.
Ye Liang also mentioned that end of October finally selected five contestants from Bangladesh will go to China and first week of November its gala round will be held there. Best five contestants will get the opportunity to visit Shahman and Fuzian Cities. They will work for Linkus.
From Bangladesh popular actress and model Sonia Hossain and director Debashish Biswas will work as judges in this international contest.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Sonia told this correspondent, “For the first time I am going to work as judges of an international competition. The participants who will contest they must have proper knowledge about Bangladesh despite having beauty because they will represent our country. I shall try my level best effort to give judgment.”
Debashish Biswas said, “Earlier I was judge in two contests. This event is really exceptional. To keep in mind the concept ‘Beauty with Brain,’ we have to select the real Miss Culture and Tourism. This contest will be telecast on SA TV from October 17 and will continue till December 5.”
