Another burn victim of early Tuesday’s fire at a Narayanganj flat died at a Dhaka Hospital early Saturday.
With this, the death toll from the explosion rose to four.
Md Sabbir, 15, breathed his last around 5:00am while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka with 42 per cent burns.
Six family members suffered severe injuries in a fired caused by an explosion that occurred at their flat on a six-storey building in Masdair area around 12:30am.
Fire Service and Civil Defence sources said the explosion might have originated from gas cylinder leakage.
