A Saudi expatriate Haji Kamaluddin alleged threat to him against Ledu Bahini (alias Kasai Ledu) of East Shahidnagar under Baizid Bostami thana in city on Tuesday .
He informed the matter to the journalists at a press conference arranged at Chittagong Press Clulb on Tuesday .
The press meet was told that he hailed from Shahidnagar Ward under Baizid thana and now residing at Halishahar K-Block area under Halishahar thana, Expatriate Kamal uddin deals business in Saudi Arabia since long.
Kamal told the journalists that some local miscreants under guidance of Kasai Ledu demanded tolls from him and gave threat of killing if fails to pay their demands.
The written statement of Kamaluddin in the press meet was told that he was attacked by a group of miscreants belong to Ledu Bahini with lathi and lethal weapons on Novemeber 28 last while going to his paternal house in Shahidnagar alongwith his younger sister.
The seriously injured incumbent and his younger sister Parvin were rushed to Chittagong medical college hospital who were instantly admitted in Ward No.1 & 28 of the hospital for treatment, press meet was told. . Expatriate Kamal told the journos that during attack on him, the mescreants snatched away his govt licensed arms(L.No.1670) from him.
