The teachers, officials and students of Premier University formed human chain and protest rally infront of the university to condemn death threat to its vice chancellor Prof Dr.Anupam sen in a annoynmous letter on Thursday last. The human chain program formed in Pabartak area infront of the main campus of the university. Among others, Registrar Abu Taher, Dean of Engineering faculty Dr. Anil Kanti Dhar, Deam of Business faculty Md. Muazzam Hossain and Proctor Rajib chowdhury spoke on the occasion.
In the meantime, noted educationist Dr. Anupam Sen lodged a General Diary with the Panchalaish thana after receipt of death threat by a anonymous letter on Thursday that sent by postal services. (GD No.1918). Panchalaish thana duty officer Md. Yousuf confirmed the lodging of GD by the education veteran.
In the same anonymous letter, death threat also given to Vice chancellor of Chittagong University Dr. Iftikharuddin chowdhury, Member secretary of Gonojagoran Mancha Dr. Chandan Das (belowfrom left) Riaz Haider chowdhury , President of CUJ and Showkat Bangali, member of Ghatak Dalal Nirmul committee, Ctg unit.
