Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Golam Muhammad Quader expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of ex-chief whip of Jatiya Sangsad and Barishal-1 lawmaker Abul Hasnat Abdullah’s wife Shahan Ara Abdullah.
In a condolence message on Monday, he said “Shahan Ara Abdullah was a soft-hearted woman and was very much close to the helpless and depressed people. She will remain alive in people’s heart for long for her welfare activities.”
Jatiya Party Secretary General and Opposition Chief Whip M Mashiur Rahman Ranga also expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death Shahan Ara Abdullah.
