Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University (DU) Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Sunday expressed profound shock at the death of Bangladesh Ambassador to Brazil and former Foreign Secretary Mohamed Mijarul Quayes.
In a condolence message, the VC said “Mijarul Quayes was a connoisseur of literature, culture and art despite being a career diplomat”.
He was also very fond of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he added.
