Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter and Madaripur district council Chairman Miaj Uddin Khan.
In a condolence message on Friday, Quader, also the Awami League General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family member.
In a separate message, Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary and Madaripur-3 constituency lawmaker Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap expressed deep shock at the death of Miaj Uddin Khan, also father of Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon.
