Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud
expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Bangladesh Television (BTV) guest news producer of Chattogram centre Imrul Azam. In a condolence message on Tuesday, Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate messages, State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan and Information Secretary Kamrun Nahar also expressed deep shock at the death of Azam.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. Azam died of a cardiac arrest at the age of 35. He did his masters from Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Rajshahi University.
