Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Friday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Alhaj Nurunnabi Saudagar, Awami League’s Shilak Union President under Ranguniya upazila of Chattogram.
In a condolence message, the minister said the country has lost an honest, efficient and idealistic politician in the demise of Nurunnabi.
Hasan, also Awami League Joint General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Nurunnabi Saudagar died in the early hours of Friday at the age of 84, a press release said.
