Information and Broadcasting minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Md Abdul Kader, father of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) central committee Joint Secretary Md Ariful Islam.
In a message of condolence, Hasan, also Awami League Joint General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Kader died at his residence at Bhengri village in Chatmohar Thana of Pabna district early on Saturday morning at the age of 65.
He left behind wife, two daughters and one son, well-wishers and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
