Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Rahena Akhter, mother of General Secretary of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasod) Shirin Akhter.
In a condolence message on Thursday, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Rahena passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Wednesday night at the age of 86. She left behind host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
