Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif on Monday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Ishwardy Upazila Awami League President and veteran freedom fighter Anisunnabi Biswas.
In a condolence message, the land minister said the people of Ishwardi and Pabna have lost a real patriot and organizer in his death.
Anisunnabi Biswas died on Sunday at 6.30 pm while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Trauma Centre.
He left behind wife, two daughters, a son and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
