The fifth anniversary of death of eminent educationist and former teacher of Teachers’ Training College Professor Moksedur Rahman will be observed today.
He was a teacher of Dhaka Government Laboratory School till 1973 since its inception.
Later, he served in Barisal Residential College, Comilla Teachers’ Training College and Feni Teachers’ Training College.
Rahman, father-in-law of journalist Omar Faruque, former president of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ), was also a teacher of Ahsania Mission Teachers’ Training College.
Educationist Moksedur Rahman was born in Solna village in Sadar upazila of Barisal district.
Students, friends, relatives and admirers have been requested to pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
