The 11th death anniversary of eminent journalist Humayun Kabir Balu will be observed today. Different socio-cultural organizations and political parties have chalked out programmes to mark the day.Khulna Press Club has arranged a discussion meeting, doa mahfil and placing wreaths at the journalists monument at Khulna Press Club premises. Khulna Working Journalists Unity (KWJU) will bring out a mourning procession in the city, place wreaths at the journalists’ monument and arrange a discussion at Khulna Press Club.
Khulna City Awami League and its front organizations will place wreaths at the journalists’ monument.
