The 21st death anniversary of Kohinoor Banu, mother of Shaheed intellectual Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad, a recipient of the Ekushey Award, was observed in the city on Monday amidst due religious fervour.
On the occasion, a milad mehfil followed by Quarnkhwani was held at House 35/B, Road-7, Block-G Banani, the residence of her youngest son Hahibul Bashar, Editor of the Morning Post.
