Today is the 26th death anniversary of dentist Dr. Kali Krishna Majumder, an anti-British movement activist and a drama artiste of the then undivided Bengal’s Tripura district.
One of his sons, Pranab Majumder, the Editor of the Fortnightly Aarthakagaj and Dhaka Bureau Chief of the Daily Shironam, Comilla has requested all to pray for the salvation of his departed soul.
On the occasion, prayer meetings have been arranged in the capital’s Siddheshwari Kali Temple and Chandpur town’s court station Kali temple. Food will be distributed among the destitute at the temples.
