Today is the 10th death anniversary of Alhaj Md Shafiul Alam Khan, a former official of Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited.
He died on November 20 in 2009 at a hospital in Dhaka at the age of 79.
A 3-day (November 20, 21 and 22) prayer program including Qurankhwani, dua and milad Mahfil will be held in the deceased’s own residence, ‘Khan Bari’, at Boalkhali upazila of Chattogram district, and another prayer program will be held today at the evening at the ‘Law Firm’ (204 Bijoy Nagar, Dhaka) of Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan, Shafiul Alam’s eldest son and also a Supreme Court lawyer, seeking blessings for the departed soul of Shafiul Alam.
The relatives, friends and well-wishers of the deceased are cordially invited to attend the program and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
