Discussion and prayer mahfil were held in Ishwardi on the occasion of 13th death anniversary of Dr. MA Wazed Mia organized by the Upazila Awami League at the party office on Monday.
The chief guest was Freedom fighters Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament for Pabna-4 constituency. Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Chairman Freedom fighters Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas presided over the function. Upazila Awami League general secretary and former mayor Abul Kalam Azad Mintu conducted the function. General Secretary of Municipal Awami League and Municipal Mayor Isaac Ali Malitha, Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Khan, Women Vice Chairman Atia Ferdous Kakli along with leaders and activists of Upazila and Municipal Awami League and its affiliates were present.
Speaking as the chief guest Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas MP said, Science education, research and politics. Dr. Wazed Mia’s contribution will be exemplary for present and future generations. Science-minded nation formation. I firmly believe that the ideology of Dr. Wazed Mia will be a path for the new generation.
