The 4th death anniversary of noted educationist Principal Mujibur Rahman is today.
The family members of Mujibur Rahman have arranged a Milad Mahfil for the salvation of the departed soul of the educationist.
Principal Mujibur, also is father of Mostaq Ahmed Ruhi MP (Netrokona-1), was a progressive and non-communal personality in the greater Mymensingh region. He performed his duty in the BNCC during Liberation War in 1971.
He was also involved with creative activities, sports and socio-cultural activities in his area. He was one of the founders of Sondhani Biggyan Chakro. He discharged his duties as Principal of Netrokona Government College in 1996.
Principal Mujibur was Head of the Physics Department in Anandomohon College and Vice-Principal of Mymensingh Muminunnesa Mohila College.
After his retirement from the government job, Principal Mujibur was the founder Principal of Netrokona Bangabandhu College. He played a pivotal role in establishing Syed Nazrul Islam College in Mymensingh. He taught in the school till his death.
