Death anniversary and reminiscence on most popular Awami League leader of Chittagong and former Minister MA Mannan and the former General Secretary of city AL late Kazi Enamul Hoque Danu was observed at Chamsmahill residence of the former city Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury yesterday with President of City Mohila Awami League Hasina Mohiuddin in the chair.
City Mohila Awami League of Chittagong arranged the meeting . In her address Hasina Mohiuddin said veteran AL leader late MA Mannan was a top ranking policy maker during the liberation period who played dynamic role to achieve the independence of the country.
She said kazi Enamul Hoque Danu was a veteran freedom fighter and rendered his responsibilities to uphold the image and organizational strength of the City AL till his death. Among others, Anjuman Ara chowdhury, Nazma Moula, munni jafar, Manjuman Ara, Maleka Chowdhury, Nilo Nag, Ishrat J ahan, Ayesha Akhter, Anima kamal, Halima, Momtaz, Hosne Ara, Raushan ara, Reba Barua spoke on the occasion.
