The 40th death anniversary of former Chief Justice Syed Mahbub Murshed, an eminent jurist, an independent thinker cum judge and one of the greatest constitutional lawyers of the Sub-Continent will be observed today.
In this connection Qurankhwani and Fateha Khani will be held at the late Justice Murshed’s Mazar at 10:00 am at Banani and the Syed Mahbub Murshed Memorial Committee will lay floral wreaths. Because of the holiday the Annual Milad Mahifil will be held at the deceased family residence at Gulshan in Dhaka on Friday, 5th April, 2019 after the Asr prayer.
All the relatives and admirers of the deceased are requested to attend the Milad Mahfil and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
