The 26th death anniversary of famed journalist and former special correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha Syed Mozammel Haque will be observed with special prayers today.
Haque served in BSS for years and died while he was a special correspondent in the national news agency. He worked for Time magazine and Oil And Gas Journal of the USA as well.
Haque is a recipient of prestigious Nieman fellowship in Journalism offered by the Nieman Foundation at Harvard university.
The family members said they would hold special prayers at family residences at Lalmatia and old DOHS in the capital. They requested relatives, friends and admirers to keep him in their thoughts and pray to the Almighty for the departed soul.
