Today is the 7th death anniversary of Begum Fawzia Samad, wife of Late M. A. Samad, a renowned insurance legend and the founder of Bangladesh General Insurance Co. Ltd.
Late Begum Fawzia Samad had been a talented lady who devoted her whole life to the cause of the women-folk of the country serving in different capacities which include Presidentship of Dhaka Ladies Club for long 38 years and even till her death.
She also played a vital role in establishing Bangladesh General Insurance Co. Ltd, (BGIC) from the very beginning from behind, for which the BGIC family will always remember her contribution with deep sense of gratitude.
