The 54th death anniversary of the founder Editor of Dainik Azadi of Chittagong Engr. Abdul Khaleque was observed through Milad and Doa Mahfil on Sunday .
A Milad and Doa Mahfil was arranged at Kadam Mobarak Mosque premises duly conducted by its Khatib Moulana Md. Badiul Alam Rizvi after Zohr prayer on Sunday.
Besides, another Doa Mahfil was held at Azadi office auditorium after Asr prayer . Khatib of Kadam Mobarak mosque conducted the munajat in the mahfil. The speakers in the milad mahfil said Engr. Abdul Khaleque was the pioneering path finder of newspaper industry in the port and he was a enlightened man of journalism in the subcontinent.
Among others, Editor of Azadi MA Malek, Managing Editor Wahid Malek, Executive editor Shihab Malek, News Editor Jahurul Islam, Associate editor Rashed Rouf, Chief report Hasan Akbar, Slogan Editor Jahiruddin, writer journalist Showkat Bangali were present in the Milad and Doa Mahfil.
