The 47th death anniversary of Anil Chandra Sarker, father of The Daily Industry’s Chief News Editor Arun Sarker, will be observed today (Sunday) at Jagatbandhu Moth at Tikatuli in the capital.
On this day in 1971, Anil Chandra Sarker, the Chief Accountant of the Daily Ittefaq, had been killed by the Pakistani military in his colleague Shubhash Ganguli’s residence at Kola of Sirajdikhan thana of former Bikrampur.
