The 12th death anniversary of Abu Muhammad Murtayish (Kachi), Advocate of Supreme Court and one of the founders of the Padatik Natya Sangsad and Bangladesh Law Association, will be observed today.
Advocate Murtayish, who was also consultant of World Bank’s Legal and Judicial Capacity Building Project, died on September 13, 2002 in Dhaka following a massive heart attack. He was 45.
Milad Mahfil and Qurankhwani were held after Jumma prayers at his village mosque on Friday and another milad mahfil and doa will also be held after Asr prayers at Purana Paltan mosque in the capital today. All have been requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
