Today is the 13th death anniversary of educationist Abul Hashem, the founder and Principal of Singhakhali School and College at Bhandaria Upazilla of Pirojpur.
On the occasion a discussion and milad mahfil will be held at the college compound.
A Qurankhwani and feeding of destitutes will also be held at Shinghakhali.
Besides, Doa Mahfil will also be arranged at several mosques at his homeland.
Abul Hashem was founder & donor of land for establishing school, college, mosque, madrasha, post office and a 10-bed government hospital at his homestead at village Singhakhali.
He authored two books – ‘English Grammar and Composition for class vi’ and a book on local history named ‘Bhandaria Darpon’.
