The newly elected committee of Dhaka Divisional Sports Association (DDSA) took the charge through a formal meeting held on Monday last at a local hotel in the city, said a press release.
Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, was present at the meeting as the chief guest with newly elected President of DDSA Helaluddin Ahmed in the chair.
Rapid Action Battalion Director General Benazir Ahmed was present as special guest at the meeting.
Papon announced cash of Taka 10 lakh for the development of the association. General Secretaries of different district sports associations from across the country and members of DDSA were also present in the meeting.
