Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Economist Forum (GEF) on Saturday.
DCCI president Mohammad Shahjahan Khan and president of Global Economist Forum Dr Enayet Karim signed the MoU at DCCI office in the capital on behalf of their respective organisation, said a DCCI press release.
As per the deal, the DCCI and GEF will work together to enhance the development of economic, trade and investment of the country. The DCCI and GEF will exchange information on national and international economics, investment regulations, export possibilities and import requirements on regular basis.
Besides, the DCCI and GEF will exchange publications, brochures and catalogues providing more information about the overall economy and business sector.
DCCI president Mohammad Shahjahan Khan said the DCCI and GEF will work together to enhance the doing business situation in the country under the agreement.
