DCCI delegation off to Turkey to join export week

A 16-member trade delegation of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), led by its Vice President Hossain A Sikder, left on Tuesday for Turkey to attend the “Turkesh’s Export Week and Buyers’ Mission” to be held from November 01-03 at Istanbul.
The delegation includes DCCI Directors Engr. Akbar Hakim, Imran Ahmed, Rashedul Ahsan, Mamun Akbar, Md. Alauddin Malik, Osman Gani, Riyadh Hossain, former Senior Vice Presidents Alhaj Abdus Salam and M S Shekil Chowdhury, former Vice Presidents Absar Karim Chowdhury and M Abu Hurairah, former Directors M Bashir Ullah Bhuiyan and M A Baten, Convenor Big Gen Quamrul Islam (Retd.) and member Mamund Hsasan, said a press release.
The main objective of the business delegation will be to establish linkage between the businessmen of Turkey and Bangladesh and also explore newer export opportunities.
DCCI Vice President Hossain A Sikder will speak as a designated discussant at the session titled “Bangladesh’s Macroeconomic and Investment Environment and outlook'” at the business forum.
The DCCI delegation is scheduled to meet officials of Bangladesh Embassy in Turkey to discuss Bangladesh-Turkey business environment.
