A Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) cleaner was electrocuted to death at Bhatara here, on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Moslem Mia, 35, son of Mongol Mia, a resident of Ganoktuli under Hazaribagh Police Station. Moslem suffered serious injuries after he came into contact with an electric-pool while cleaning the road at Nurerchala under Bhatara Police Station around 7.30am, police and hospital sources said.
The injured was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty physicians pronounced him dead around 9.45 on Sunday morning.
A case was lodged with concerned thana in this regard.
